Art has always been a prevalent aspect of my life. As a child I was always doodling and looked forward to art classes. To prepare for a career in art, I attended a trade school for graphic design during my junior and senior years of high school. After graduating, I attended a local community college where I earned an associate’s degree in fine arts (AFA). I then transferred to Truman State University where I am currently pursuing my bachelor’s degree in graphic design.
Capstone:
Rebranding
For my capstone at Truman State University I needed to contact two different companies and rebrand them. I chose a CBD store near my hometown and a local gun store in town of the college. Starting with a brand new logo, I asked about the history and values of both businesses and started sketching out ideas. Once the logos were finished, I started working on stationary sets, posters, and social media ads that would visually align with its corresponding business.

Fictional
Branding
Here I made up a fictional watch company and created advertisements and packaging for it. This project lasted an entire semester.

Sports Promo
As a class we were given the semester to design and photograph assets to use in order for the college to promote the Women's basketball team.
